Farm Stay terms and conditions

CANCELLATION POLICY 

Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in. Any cancellations due to COVID lockdowns or travel restrictions are fully refundable.

CHECK-IN 

Check-in time is 2pm. We can sometimes arrange an early check-in so please contact us if you will arrive early and we will do our best, without any promises.

CHECKOUT 

Check-out time is strictly 10am. Should you require a later check-out we will do our best, but you need to let us know before your stay.

PETS

Sorry no pets allowed at this property.

SMOKING POLICY

Smoking is strictly not allowed inside the cottages & if you must smoke during your stay, please make sure it is away from other cottages & guests.

 

BREAKAGES

We understand that sometimes accidents happen! Should you break anything please let us know immediately – if it is minor, we usually will not charge. If it is a larger issue (e.g., the TV screen!) we would like to agree the cost with you before you leave to avoid any issues later.

ANIMAL FEEDING

We will leave some chook food in small containers for you to feed out to our Chickens. Scraps of vegies only can be left inside a garden bed for chooks to forage (but please only vegie scraps as we do not want to entice other critters. Please do not feed any other animals and always supervise young children when feeding the chickens.

Horse feeding & Patting is strictly not allowed as they are agisted and not all owned by the farm. Farm guests can walk around to view the horses but not allowed to go inside the paddocks under any circumstances.

EVENTS

No events/parties are allowed at the property

It is hereby agreed to as follows

  1. HAZARDOUS ACTIVITY: I understand that participating in farm activities can cause serious injuries. I understand that farm animals are unpredictable by nature in that they can become aggressive or inquisitive and cause me harm by way of biting, kicking, spitting, pecking, chasing or stepping on. I understand that farm machinery will be at work whilst I am staying on the farm; that when machinery drivers cannot see me, I will be in danger of getting run over by heavy equipment. I am aware of fences being electric and gates need to be kept shut. I fully understand that these risks and voluntarily assume these risks and dangers for myself or on behalf of my children or legal ward (if applicable)
  2. SAFETY FIRST: I will read all the safety signs found around the farm and wear appropriate clothing where the sign asks visitors to. I will adhere to the walking paths provided on the visitors map. I will always be aware of possible danger, knowing I am on a farm with unpredictable animals and farm machinery at work. I will educate my child/legal ward and fully supervise my child/legal ward so that both farm activities are not interrupted and other guests privacy and safety is regarded. I understand other than the cottage’s fenced garden, the rest of the farm is not a playing ground.
  3. LIABILITY RELEASE: I understand that I am responsible for bodily injury or property damage that I or my child/legal ward should sustain or cause whilst staying on the Robin Hood’s Well Farm stay property. I am responsible for medical expenses or any other expense incurred as a result of such injury or property damage. I am responsible for the time lost in employment due to the injuries, or for my childs lost school time. I hereby for myself, my heirs, administrators and assigns release and discharge Anroc Farms Pty Ltd trading as Robin Hood’s Well Farm Stay (the farm owners and operators) and all of their employees and officers from claims, demands, actions and causes of actions for such injuries sustained to my person, or that of my child or legal ward and/or my property.
  4. OWNERS OF HORSES: If I intend on bringing my own horse to be accommodated/trained at Robin Hood’s Well Farm Stay, I take full responsibility in the safety and care of my horse and myself. I will check all fences surrounding my horses paddock and attend to my horse often and maintain the health of my horse, except when leaving my horse for training purposes. I will not leave my horse tied up un attended or leave any tack attached to my horse, unattended. I am responsible for bodily injury or property damage that I or my horse should sustain or cause whilst staying on the Robin Hood’s Well Farm stay property. I am responsible for all medical expenses or any other expense incurred as a result of such injury or property damage. I realize my horse can be a danger to others who are guests staying and working on the farm and will respect others safety at all times. I will always wear appropriate safety gear when around my horse and read all safety farm signs. I will load & unload my horse from float inside the stock yard (float parking area). I will not linger with my horse in the guest carpark, nor stop my horse for the guests to pat.

Please read this and when you arrive for your stay on our farm, we will require you to fill out the waiver located in your cottage and sign it.
